Le chat

Je vous présente Tom. Tom, mon chat, sacré de birmanie aux grands yeux de saphir. Tom, qui depuis tout petit disparaît et réapparaît subitement dans l’appartement (aurais-je un chat magicien?). Toujours à chercher les cachettes les plus farfelues, à explorer le couloir, les jardinières du balcon, les profondeurs de mon placard, les escaliers de l’immeuble. Car Tom n’est pas un chat d’extérieur. Ainsi lorsqu’il s’aventure hors du confort de nos lits douillets, ses yeux s’ouvrent, se figent et sont à l’affût du moindre moineau. 


Je l’ai donc trouvé cette fois dans l’évier de la cuisine, se faisant tout petit quand je m’approche, effrayé par les gouttes tombant lourdement du robinet. 


Here’s Tom. Tom, my birman cat with big sapphire eyes. Tom, I’ve known since always, disappears and reappears suddenly in the apartment (would I own a magic kitty ?). Always looking for the most incredible hideouts, exploring the hallway, the balcony plants, the depths of my wardrobe, the stairs of the flat. Because Tom is not an outdoor cat. So when he adventures out of the beds cosiness, his eyes open wildly, freeze and are on the lookout of every single bird.


I found him this time in the kitchen sink, making himself tiny when I came closer, frightened by the drops falling heavily from the faucet.
